Sergeant of Shananigans

Not only does it SOUND better, it seems that more creativity is required to be the Sergeant of Shananigans than the Commander of Cool... which to me just means managing to be lazy without judgment.

You'd have to have immense experience and creativity to come up with good enough shananigans to be qualified as sergeant.

Hmm, I have to agree with Carla. Not only is commander higher in rank, being the Commander of Cool would be easier, as she explains.

So it's easier and you're higher in rank. Answer is obvious. Unless you're the type that like unnecessary challenges and more work.

How about the Liutenant of Love?

Fact check:

It's Commandant, not Commander. Still, Commandant is higher in rank than Sergeant.

commandant and commander have the same meaning... and i realized the typo i made after i posted.

Commandante of Cool.

It's a very fine line to walk, coolness, and the person in this position must be highly stressed. The threat of being taken out by even the most thoughtless action is constant.

Fact check 2:

In the US military, a commander is only in the Navy while a commandant is in the Marines (e.g., Commandant of the Marine Corps) and Navy (e.g., Commandant of the Coast Guard). Slightly different. No matter. You are still right. Both are higher than Sergeant and can in some contexts have the same meaning.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, although Sergeant of Shananigans should require more creativity, that creativity could easily be squashed by society's inherent need to minimize the level of shananiganary, so maybe the choice is not as straight forward as I had originally thought...

The answer: Commandant of Cool. By far.

Carla, I can't quite give you credit since you didn't officially state a clear answer. Sorry. You were on the right track.

Isn't the insinuation though that there somewhere exists a Commandant of Shenanigans? If so, I'd go with him.

And what about the Lieutenant of Love? Think of how much better the world would be if there were more 'lieutenants.' There wouldn't be any jealousy for not being cool enough. And we wouldn't have to deal with the all the trickery the Sergeant would play.

So, Lieutenant of Love.
