Definitely "Package Insert for Hero's Soul".... first of all, I wrote the owner's manual to Russell, so I don't even need it. But to obtain a package insert for my hero's soul?!?! That would bring me just one step closer to being my own hero! Or it would make me realize my hero's faults, therefore prompt me to find a new one.
I do love this game, though the DECIDER'S objectivity is elusive. My vote this one, Significant Other's Owner Manual...why? Dunno. Perhaps because my hero is already fab, but the significant other...no so much.
I would say "package insert for your hero's soul."
An owner's manual for your significant other is mostly unnecessary--you figure stuff out eventually, albeit imperfectly. And the desire for one smacks of manipulative intent. This dilemma is highly judgmental.
On the other hand, the package insert could be really lame. The mere fact that it goes with your hero's soul does not provide any guarantees. But it's worth finding out, I think.
I guess I'm not quite clear what exactly a package insert is...
But, generally, I have to agree with JB that eventually you figure this stuff out, and one would assume that the instruction manual would be used for manipulative purposes.
So I'm going to go with the one that deals with my hero. And my hero is The Decider.

I would have to say 'significant other's owner manual.'
Not only does it provide the assistance and guidance, which we all need, but it also implies that you OWN your significant other. I'm cool with that.
