Welcome

The game? Simple. The purpose? Obvious: To acquire total understanding of all things.

The protocol? Read the posted dilemma, provide your comment (a simple answer will do; more is OK if you're bored, or if you feel strongly about an issue, or if you're avoiding other less important responsibilities like taxes or parenting), and then wait for THE ANSWER, which will be provided as the final comment by The Decider (me).

Let me be clear: Your comments are not required. You may acquire total understanding of all things by simply reading my answers. It is, however, in your interest to state your opinion here. Why? Because I may develop additional respect for you should your answer be in line with my own. Minimal cost, maximum reward. Think about it.

So, without further delay:

Mary Poppins?

or

Maria Von Trapp?

I thought it was "Dangerous Dichotomies," no?

Regardless, my answer is Mary Poppins. Have you seen the things she can pull out of that bag?

Ooh, tough one to start. Guitar v. Umbrella, Love v. Magic. I'm going with Mary Poppins, final answer.

First, thanks for the invite and allowing me the opportunity to express my opinion. Hopefully, you'll find me as an equal. If not, whatever.

While both are musically gifted and have the voices of angels, I would have to go with Maria Von Trapp. Whoever can escape the Nazis while singing Doe-a-dear while hiking over the Alps is good people in my book.

WITH 7 children, mind you.

Anyone who can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 100 times is okay in my book.

I agree with Natalia

This one is SO obvious: Maria von Trapp.

Mary Poppins, while clever, is mostly popular for things that don't really exist. And she was kind of bitchy.

The answer: Maria Von Trapp.

Natalia, Carla, and JB are correct. Well done. The rest of you shouldn't give up. You'll get it right eventually.
