Division?

Division.

As a word it's more flexible.
As a symbol it's more distinctive. As a concept, it's reminiscent of cutting a pie. And I like pie.

In my mind they're really the same thing. Division is a little more interesting though. Sometimes. You know, depending on the numbers.

Multiplication is a hard word for me to say. I kind of hate that word.

I say division.

They're the same thing.... but the word division has too many contexts, so I'll go with Multiplication.

As someone about to have another child, I'm going with multiplication.

I say multiplication. I remember distinctively that i spelled that word right in Ms. Durst's second grade spelling bee and i thought i was bad ass. No joke.

Plus, anything 'multiplied' is always a good thing- money, happiness, love, laughter, skittles

I have a confession to make. Somehow I managed to go through school and college without relly knowing how to divide by more than 2 numbers...
That fact, clearly, confronted us forever. On the other hand, I tend to Multiply whatever comes in range... (except money).
I say Multiplication.

Definitely multiplication on this one...there's strength in numbers.

Hmm. Yeah, I guess anything multiplied is always a good thing. Fascists, E. coli bacteria, cars... I say the more the better.

Again, division.

Still, anyone who can spell "multiplication" in 2nd grade is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

I love Online Carl. He's so edgy.
