Truth?

or

Dare?

Dare.

No victory is worth having to decide whether to open your skeleton closet or tell a bald-faced lie. Better to have to french kiss the dog or whatever.

Always Truth. Or a lie pretending to be a truth.

Truth: My wife bought a Rainbow Brite doll on Ebay and I found it adorable.

Now really, how hard was that?

Truth. Usually the truth questions are softballs, but the dares are traditionally aggressively embarrassing.

Dare.

Indiana Jones would have chosen dare.

Indiana Jones would have chosen both and then answered the truth while completing the dare.

Truth.

The return on a dare is zero. You don't even get the respect of the friends who dared you! Managing a "truth" takes real skill.

Sometimes telling the truth is a dare, in and of itself.

TRUTH always and forever... unless you're double-dog daring me. Then i would consider the challenge. Otherwise i would prefer not to make a fool of myself.

Truth may hurt, but it doesn't make it any less the truth. Dare may hurt, but that's about it. There's no integrity there...dare just doesn't stand up the same way truth does. Answer: truth.

I believe Hugh's answer neatly demonstrates two truths that I've observed about Republicans:

1) They tend to answer only questions no one asked, and

2) their version of "the truth" is often quite similar to what most people would consider lies.

So instead of capitalizing Truth, I think perhaps he should use "air quotes."

And while I'm mouthing off, I truly dare our Decider to make good and tally us up some updated scores.

The answer: Dare.
