Killer. Especially since I've had "Behind That Locked Door" stuck in my head for hours. That was a very strong solo showing. As a whole album, it may best any of Lennon's. Crap.
This is harder than John vs. Paul for me.
I don't know.

Ok. John Lennon.

George, just because he wrote Here comes the sun... maybe someday Yoko finds a lost tape with a better song. Until then I say George.

Lennon...Imagine is my favorite song by the Beatles. Plus... only important people get assassinated. There is also a movie about to come out in the near future about Lennon and his Assassin.

and yes I didn't mean to say the Beatles were included in Imagine.

Lennon.

Even though my favorite song is While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Yeah, Rolo, I'm not sure how credible that movie will be since it's starring Lindsey Lohan.

JOHN LENNON!

George Harrison. I've always said that if I could be a Beatle, it would have been George Harrison. I suppose it's because he seemed like a fairly "normal" person to me (whatever that means).

And despite his obsession with the Sitar and Ravi Shankar, his other music was outstanding.

George, though less for anything he did and more because he was less of a celebrity, which I think is to his credit.

Listening to Helter Skelter and Everybody's Got Something to Hide... this morning convinced me I'm right.

Without John, the Beatles wouldn't have been the sensation they were. But without George, they wouldn't have rocked as hard. Unless it had been Clapton in there instead. Hmm.

No matter. George it remains.

By the way, I also have to point out that this is a very atypical dilemma, what with John vs. Paul coming earlier.

More like science. Less like fun.
