#35 (FINAL DILEMMA)

This is it!

Telling a co-worker that he stinks by leaving an anonymous note?

or

Telling a co-worker that he stinks by telling him directly and in-person?

This is complicated by the background knowledge I have of this particular dilemma...

There's a right way and an easy way. Unfortunately these are rarely the same thing.

Ultimately, the RIGHT thing to do is to tell him in person. The EASY thing to do is to do it anonymously.

Do it right. Do it in person. It will suck, but it's good karma.

Anonymous, because I tend to smell things that many others do not smell I might not be doing others a favor and it might be completely selfish.

Also, I'm trying to disagree with Alex so I have the slightest chance of winning.

The truth will set you free.

OK, well maybe not always. But it's less risky, and it generally makes you look better.

The anonymous option isn't a favor; it's thinly veiled cowardice.

Directly and in person.

(but politely and in friendship)

This depends on how close you are to the coworker. If you don't know them that well then I would say note. You don't want to create enemies. If you were closer to them then it would be the right thing to tell them in person.

I would say since Nan said co-worker that you are closer with this person. I would TELL THEM IN PERSON.

Tell him in person. Why should I be embarassed if someone stinks? Just buy him a personal care kit for his birthday/christmas etc... that should do it.

one more thing

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO FINDS THE WORD VERIFICATION EXTREMELY ANOYING??

holy crap! i forget that the last two dilemmas will have several points attached to them!

I change my answer to telling them in person. Now I can agree with Alex and I still have a chance!

Leave an anonymous note. I don't think it's being a coward at all. That way, the stinker won't know who thinks he stinks, and change his stinking ways. If he knew, then he may just think, "I don't care if Nan thinks I stink."

I, Natalia, would go to him and say, "Hey, Nan thinks you smell pretty bad."
