I'm inclined to say French because it's more intriguing to me and it's way cooler for me to hear people speaking it.
I think a lot of people like Spanish because it's easy to learn and more accesible to them; but this just does not impress me when thinking about language as a logical system.
Spanish is the 3rd most spoken languaje (Chinese, for obvious reasons, and english are the top 2) No disrespect decider, but, isn`t this dilemma already solved by the million of spanish speakers in the whole world? And, correct me if I`m wrong but, isn`t there a Beatles song with some spanish in it?
I guess the if The Decider still considers this a dilemma, then my answer is FRENCH
"Mundo paparazzi me amore chica ferdy parasol, Cuesto obrigado tanta mucho que can eat it carousel" Now THAT`S WHAT I CALL A DILEMMA. Love you too decider. KEEP DECIDING, I`ll keep learning.

French, yo.
É l'emête tupois?
Just kidding.
Spanish.
It's the same for me. Both are beautiful, both are widely used and fun to speak, or at least to pretend to know.
*unlike the guitar, i'm not implying i speak either*
So, whatever the Decider decides, is my choice. If that doesn't fly, i'll choose Spanish.
Spanish...it just is.

I've also studied both...
French in middle school and Spanish in High school and college. Spanish was better in every category.
Also you can speak Spanish to more people around the world. It's a much better means of communication.
French
These are getting hard.

'Michelle' has French in it. I can't think of any Beatles songs in Spanish.
'Sun King' had some non-sense in it:
Quando paramucho mi amore de felice corazon
Mundo paparazzi me amore chica ferdy parasol
Cuesto obrigado tanta mucho que can eat it carousel
I guess some of those words are Spanish.
Juan, I don't like your tone, young man.
Just kidding. I love you dearly.
Was that supposed to be a Decision?
lol. No! Keep your pants on!

LOL. Well put, Juan. We're all learning so much here. I like your logic. And your answer, which agrees with mine.
Cacho made a dog.
dog = perro
dog doesn't = chien
That's just silly.
Spanish.

Spanish. Even though I took French in High School, which was obviously a giant mistake.
Spanish, no doubt.
Based purely on world stats:
Spanish speakers - 332 million
French speakers - 79 million
The answer: Spanish
