Strangely, just last night I was looking at a book of African proverbs that we just got, and one of the ones from Cameroon stuck with me:
Thought breaks the heart.
So true that it stuck with me. I admit that at the core of my being there exists little more than a skeptical, intellectualizing numbness. With that "in mind" my answer is:
With my brain.
(Not because I like it that way, but because that's how it is.)
Okay guys, again you're missing the point. He's clearly testing your knowledge of Captain Planet. There was no brain in Captain Planet! Earth, Fire,Wind, Water, HEART!. And if you remember correctly the little boy who possessed the heart ring (which sucked) all he could do was see when other people were in trouble). And he was either Guatemalan or Mexican. So really what Nan is asking you is if you would rather be a cool kid that got a ring that shoots fire. Maybe Nan is relaying to us that he actually wished he were the little Argentinean boy next to the Guatemalan boy, and his ring would be BRAIN!
Also, as many of you might recall, the homevideo where Nan was in the kitchen of the Oberlin house, and he was spouting off the 5 senses, and if you remember, BRAIN was one of the 5 senses!!
The proof is on a little DV tape that goes in a camcorder, so I cannot post it on here, but someday I will be able to!

Excuse the concise responses, I'm making up for lost time ...
Though this one is tough, I must say:
ideally With My Heart ...
though I am typically more of a With My Brain-er, I must admit.
whith my heart... you woldn't believe how often our brain is wrong...
I agree with Juan, my heart.
Heart does not exist.
Brain.
Damn, Carla! And people say I'm the robot.
"...with my brain" is my answer. Only because of the need so often for justification--the consequence of living among other humans.
With my brain. In my opinion, rational thought does not necessarily automatically preclude emotion, but the same cannot be said for the converse.
That is, a rational decision can accommodate emotional inputs; whereas an emotional decision most often shuts out any sense of rationalism.
Brain.

Brain!! I win again! Flawless victory!.

I just had a change of... brain:
With the heart.
Dangerous Dilemma! It's been so long, I think I lost my skills for reasoning when it comes to DDs.
"with the brain" for me. I know, I know, if JB is the robot, I'm the emotional, overly sensitive crybaby.
Plus, I completely agree with Alex. He's ahead in points and I'm getting on that gravy train.
